Oil of Spikenard is a spiritual oil that is relaxing, centering and grounding. It was highly regarded in India as a perfume, skin tonic and health-supporting.
Spikenard is sometimes referred to as Nard, Jatamansi or Indian Valerian. The name Indian Valerian gets its name because it is in the same family as Valerian.
As a matter of fact, Valerian Essential Oil is often adulterated and cut with Spikenard because therapeutic grade Valerian is fairly expensive oil.
Oil of spikenard is in Animal Scents Pet Shampoo that I use for my dog and my horses. It is also in a professionally made blend called Exodus II.
This section is a fun and easy reference guide for Spikenard. It will tell you how to use it and what to use it for. It will also provide you with some fun suggestions, safety precautions for you and your pet!
As I receive new tips and testimonials for Spikenard essential oil they will be added to the page, so check back frequently!
